Project Overview
The project included an addition of 53,185 sf and a renovation of 79,125 sf, as well as a major mechanical retrofit and electrical upgrades. A new main entrance and cafeteria/ commons is highlighted by a major skylight, illuminating the area that is the link to the new 400 seat auditorium and the two existing gymnasiums. Separation of the elementary students from the middle/high school students is achieved by the addition of 15 new elementary classrooms and the remodeling of existing space into a new elementary library/technology center and all purpose space. The comprehensive renovation and addition relates to the existing building by the selective use of color and brick.
