Project Overview
HSR was challenged with adding a 5,000 SF Early Childhood classroom addition to an existing 1975 structure. The resulting addition complemented yet enhanced the existing exterior by matching the field brick and adding a glazed red brick to highlight the main entrance and add some cardinal red to the exterior. The addition can be closed off from the rest of school when being used in the summer or before school. The addition houses two early childhood classrooms, a parent observation room, toilet rooms, a conference room and the “Cardinal Club” which is their summer and after school child care program.
