The Aircraft Facility is a design award winning, high profile building appearing as if poised for flight. Its focal point is a central skylight system which gives the interior a light and airy feeling. 42,000 sf of space includes a second story, via escalators and elevators, for a second level loading area for a major air carrier, restaurant/snack bar, conference areas, plus the departure/arrival area. A skyway loading bridge provides connection to the aircraft along with first level loading utilizing the same security system. Completing the terminal’s image of light and space, composite pre-finished aluminum panels are used for the exterior material.
