Project Overview

The 2-level Clinic has a total of 26,000 sf with a drive under canopy and clerestory lighting from above. Main level features include check-in and check-out areas, a full service pharmacy, lab and radiology suites, 21 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, a patient education room, 2 nurses stations, assessment areas, 8 provider offices, a business office and a staff lounge.

Green or sustainable building principles were incorporated into the project and include: pervious “drainable” asphalt parking, a white membrane roof, rain gardens and native landscaping, on-site water retention, green tinted windows, energy efficient lighting and controls and energy efficient HVAC systems and controls. Materials and products were specified that are durable, nontoxic, high in recycled content and easily recycled and were manufactured within 500 miles of the project. A “systems Check” was also established for the facility that processes tests, verifies and fine tunes the performance of key building systems so that they perform at the highest levels of efficiency.
