The Systems Operation Center consolidated approximately 250 employees of this headquarters facility of regional power cooperatives. The four components of this facility include a power distribution center, engineering, offices with a computer center and administration. These areas are organized around an elongated circular spine for maximum efficiency, generous waterfront vistas and human relations. State of the art technology is also evident in the electronics and computer laboratories, Building Automation System (BAS), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), microwave tower and extensive security systems. Additional areas include an employee credit union, cafeteria, Cooperative Board Room, plus integral garage. Employee parking on each end of the building allows for easy access, ample green spaces and visitor parking at the entrance.
