Project Overview
The new 35,000 sf, $4 million dollar Aquatic Center is located adjacent to the Antigo High School and is a collaboration between the Antigo School District and a private Aquatic Center Group who raised all of the funding.
Elements consist of a six lane, 25 meter competition pool with a diving well and a separate zero depth activity pool with whirl cove and slide. Also included are facilities for changing, showers, toilets, a community meeting room/party room and a seating area for the competition pool spectators. The stand alone structure was designed with the possibility of a future gymnastics addition which would then connect the facility to the high school.
