Project Overview
The project included an addition of 110,000 sf and renovation of 10,000 sf as well as a major mechanical retrofit and electrical data upgrades. A new public main entrance and cafeteria/commons is highlighted by a major skylight, illuminating the area that is the link to the new 1,800 sf gymnasium and future auditorium. Separation of the Middle School students from the High School students is achieved by the addition of 14 new Middle School classrooms, an art room, a tech-ed space, IMC, computer areas, choral and band rooms and a multi-use space. The comprehensive addition relates to the existing building by the selective use of three colors of brick and features two new entry canopies fashioned to recall the Westby skijumping heritage.
