Construction Administration
During construction we maintain intense and active participation with the owner and the contractors to make the process go smoothly. What differentiates us from other firms is that we employ several experienced full-time construction representatives who perform only in that capacity. This strategy results in project representation from concept through construction completion. They represent both the designers and the owner in making certain that construction meets expected standards, and construction costs are appropriately managed.
The following highlights HSR’s CA Services:
- Conduct on-site observations and prepare reports on progress and quality of the work, reject work not conforming to the contract documents.
- Attend and conduct progress meetings, review and respond to requests for information, interpret and decide matters concerning performance under the contract and design intent.
- Resolve constructability issues that meet design intent & owner’s quality expectations.
- Prepare and manage: Construction Bulletins, Change Orders as well as approve monthly Pay Applications.
- Review all shop drawings in coordination with architect and engineering associates to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Advise owner on contract and construction issues, budget and schedule.
- Review and coordinate project close-out inspections, documentation, O&M’s, warranties, etc.
