Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources DNR Joint Operations Center

HSR provided architectural design and construction administration services for this project. The new building allows staff to maintain equipment in clean, disinfected, and ready conditions. It provides space for five DNR Bureaus: Law Enforcement, Forestry, Fisheries Management, Wildlife Management and Water Quality.

The building is comprised of three parts:

1. A heated secure Law Enforcement wing for equipment and evidence processing as well as vehicle storage.
2. A heated shared equipment readiness and repair area with a heated shop space and wash bay area with integrated steam cleaner for cleaning of boats, kayaks, sleds; area for trailer maintenance, fishing net repair, common small maintenance and vehicle storage.
3. Unheated equipment readiness for cold Storage and vehicle storage.
