University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Student Union

HSR and Kindness Architecture provided the design services for this project. The Student Union at UWL was constructed to support student life and engagement across campus. The 204,787 square-foot facility includes gathering and social spaces, study areas, offices for student organizations and Student Centers Administration, general meeting rooms, performance venues, large event spaces, and a textbook rental area. Food service kitchens, dining areas, and various retail spaces were also included. The building is LEED Gold Certified, and the architecture incorporates natural features found in the La Crosse area that reflect a commitment to sustainability.
