Sparta Area School District New Elementary School & Addition & Renovations to Existing Schools

HSR began working with the District to complete a facilities assessment and then assisted with the pre-referendum planning. After successful passage of the referendum, HSR provided design services for the new 800-student, 2-story, 138,000 SF Herrman Elementary School which included additional gymnasium space for the District. The Southside Elementary School update included a 16,133 SF addition, renovation of 2 existing classrooms and the addition of A/C in existing classrooms to create an early learning center. The Lawrence Lawson School conversion involved an interior renovation to Sparta Montessori School. The Maplewood Elementary School was converted into new District Office.
