Jake H. Beran,PE, LEED AP BD+C

Jake received his Bachelor of Science – Engineering Technology-Mechanical Design & Facilities Degree from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jake has 16 years of engineering design experience, all with HSR. He has been on the HSR Board of Directors since 2021, and in 2023 was elected as Vice President. As the Mechanical Engineering Lead, Jake is involved in all of our projects that utilize HSR’s in-house MEP Engineering Services. He is a registered engineer in Wisconsin.

Jake is passionate about HVAC design and thrives on the challenges that come with solving design and engineering problems. He enjoys the process of analyzing systems, finding efficient solutions, and creating designs that balance functionality, comfort, and innovation. The problem-solving aspect of HVAC work excites him, as each project presents new opportunities to apply his knowledge and creativity.

Jake and his family live in La Crosse. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially going on vacations where they can create lasting memories together. One of his greatest joys is watching his kids grow and guiding them through life, helping them learn and experience new things along the way. When he has the time, he also likes to relax on the golf course or on the water.
