We utilize all forms of communication available like phone, e-mail, virtual meetings, and most importantly face to face conversation.
We take a collaborative approach, treating all participants as equal partners working toward a shared goal of mutual success. Using design charrettes, 2D and 3D drawings, diagrams, and written materials, we ensure clear communication throughout the design process. To ensure a project’s success, a team of assigned professional staff is committed to your Project for the duration as active, visible and accessible partners.
HSR’s designs align with the project’s budget, schedule, and program needs. We pay close attention to space requirements and building efficiency, often exceeding project goals through thoughtful analysis and creative, functional design that supports daily operations.

For more than 15 years, HSR has utilized BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and strategies on all of our projects. Since integrating BIM into our process, we continue to hone its use and benefits from early project conceptual modeling through project close out for the design team, the owner and the contractors.
During construction we work very closely with the general contractors to make the process go smoothly. We are perhaps different than other firms because we have several full-time construction administrators on staff. They represent both the designers and the owner in making certain that construction meets the expected standards, and construction costs are appropriately managed.
