Western Technical College Wanek Center of Innovation

The Wanek Center of Innovation was created through a complete renovation of the former Business Education Center. The facility is a center for advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and education. The first floor includes hands-on labs, classrooms, and open workspaces, while the second-floor features K-12 academy spaces, student collaboration areas, and a workforce development hub. The remodel strengthened partnerships with local industry leaders, providing students with real-world learning opportunities, industry certifications, and career-focused programs. HSR was happy to be part of the public/private partnership that made this project possible.
