Project Overview
Working within the context of a single-family residential neighborhood, HSR designed two residential buildings for the Housing Authority of the City of La Crosse consisting of a fourplex unit and duplex unit totaling nearly 6,000 SF. Each unit was comprised of a fully accessible one-bedroom that utilizes open concept living for maximum flow and function meeting needs of the tenant population. The exteriors created front porch living on the façade of a two-story appearance with the comfort, coziness and efficiency of a single story home.
